Welcome to Presence Tree. I'm Yotam Schachter.

You're here because something inside you is calling out to create change. Change in your business, your clients, or your community. Change within yourself. Change that is in line with your values and passions. You sense that change is possible, but something is stuck.

I'm here because I can help. I've spent 20 years trying to understand human change at all scales: from how individuals develop in courage, compassion, and wisdom to the twists and turns of cultural evolution in teams, organizations, and societies.

Now I help business leaders, activists, and fellow coaches generate more change with less effort.

Trees have long thoughts – long-breathing and restful. Whoever knows how to speak to them, whoever knows how to listen to them, can learn the truth.

– Herman Hesse

Yotam Schachter Presence Tree Leadership

My past and present clients include CEOs of major corporations, leadership teams in North America and Europe, clergy, activists, software engineers, and other coaches and facilitators. Across many industries and demographics, I am most effective with individuals and teams who...

... have begun a journey of self-inquiry they know will last the rest of their lives

... feel a personal sense of mission, inspired by some potential they see in the world

... know that continuing their inner work will accelerate their outer work.

These clients consistently discover, in working with me, how to rest in their own transformational power

To create lasting, enlivening change, it's not enough to just try harder. Let me help you be the place where change happens.

In The Words Of My Clients

Yotam invited me into a space where I could be real, vulnerable, and exploratory. Working with him has given me license to take more risks, not only as a coach, but as a human being.

- Kimberly Loh

Consultant, Coach, and Co-Author of Compassionate Conversations: How to Speak and Listen from the Heart

As a coach and facilitator, Yotam has a holistic approach and is able to see each and everyone and to create an atmosphere of learning that fosters insight, acceptance and commitment to change.

 - Klaus-Anders Nysteen, CEO, Hoist Finance

Yotam listens in a way that makes you feel understood, respected, and at ease — even for people like myself who don’t tend to trust easily. He is able to see right to the core of the matter and compassionately. Working with him, I've made lifestyle shifts that provide the rest and renewal I was sorely needing, and which ultimately boost my power and effectiveness.

- Lillie Marshall

And My Teachers and Colleagues

I highly recommend Yotam as a coach. I have always walked away from my conversations with him with new ideas and inspirations. He has great values and the mind and heart to help you manifest yours.

- Dr. Richard Schwartz

Founder of Internal Family Systems

I've had the pleasure to work with Yotam several times and see the lasting impact he has on my clients. As a coach and facilitator, he cuts right to the heart of the matter clearly and with a rare personal warmth, helping executives to become more centered, embodied, and open-hearted. Both playful and profound, Yotam is a transformational force to be reckoned with.

- Ricardo Sunderland

Senior Partner and ExCo Member, Egon Zehnder

I find in Yotam a magical and unlikely union of elements that are rare individually and almost unheard of in combination. He has a big brain that coordinates disparate theories and approaches with ease. He has an extraordinary heart that instantly creates safety and connection. He has a connection to spirit, to body, to the ephemeral that allows him to access new levels of insight and possibility. This leads Yotam to be a profound listener, a deeply curious and insightful question asker, and a keen and unusual seer of patterns. He pushes, mirrors, offers insight—all while holding the space for mutual growth and transformation.
